Slow-roasted Chinese-style pork ribs

Chinese Style Halogen Oven Ribs

Ingredients


  • 1.5kg spare ribs
  • 1 tbsp chilli flakes
  • 200ml hoisin sauce
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 50ml rice wine
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Method


  1. Combine the ginger, garlic, chilli flakes, hoisin sauce, honey and rice wine in a large bowl.
  2. Add the ribs and mix until the sauce coats them.
  3. Add everything to the slow cooker and cook for 4 hours on the high setting or 8 hours on the low.
