Halogen Oven Honeyed Chicken Wings

Simple, sweet and zingy – just one of these wings just won’t be enough. Prepare for pals and family in a jiffy – but, trust us, you’ll need to make extra.
Honey roasted Chicken Wings



For the Chicken

  • 500g (around 10) chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp tomato purée

For the marinade

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger


  1. Combine lemon juice, soy sauce and ginger in a bowl
  2. Place all of the chicken wings in a separate bowl and pour the mixture on top, ensuring each wing is fully covered. Leave to stand for 3 – 4 hours, turning the chicken wings occasionally
  3. Place chicken wings on the grill in your halogen oven. Roast for 10 minutes at 180°C
  4. Whilst the chicken wings cook, mix honey, tomato purée and 2 tbsp of the marinade
  5. Take out the chicken wings and cover each wing in the honey and tomato mixture
  6. Return the chicken wings to the grill and roast for another 5 minutes at 180°C
  7. Take out the chicken wings, cover the wings once again in the honey and tomato mixture and return to the halogen oven for a final 5 minutes
  8. Remove from the oven and serve with vegetable kebabs
