Go au naturale and reap the benefits of eating raw chocolate. Forgo the cocoa and give cacao a whirl – one of the most antioxidant-rich foods on the planet – and delicious to boot. This sweet treat will give your body a boost – and keep chocolate cravings in check.
4 tbsp cacao powder (or good quality cocoa if you’re struggling to get your hands on cacao powder)
4 tbsp virgin coconut oil, melted
4 – 6 tbsp honey, depending on how sweet you like your chocolate
- In a medium sized bowl, mix all of the ingredients together until fully combined. If you want to add more texture or flavour add chopped nuts, goji berries or any of your favourite toppings
- Put the mixture into moulds and place in the freezer for about an hour
- Take out of the freezer and leave for a few minutes then tuck in!
