Acai Berry Breakfast Smoothie Bowl

Supercharge your day with an ultra-energising smoothie bowl. Extra thick, uber-filling and jam-packed with nutrients. This creamy blend of goodness is well worth getting out of bed for.

Ingredients


1 packet of frozen acai berries
50ml pure apple juice
½ banana
100g frozen blueberries

For topping
Handful goji berries
A few raspberries and blackberries
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp chia seeds

Method


  1. Thaw the frozen acai berries for a few seconds under warm water, break into chunks
  2. Add the apple juice, banana, acai berries and frozen blueberries to your blender (take care to add them in this order)
  3. Blend on a low speed until thick and creamy
  4. Transfer to a bowl, leave to set in the freezer for a few minutes
  5. Add the toppings one by one then tuck in
