Slow Cooker Overnight Oats with Blueberries & Cinnamon

Not just for cold winter mornings, wake up to a deliciously creamy bowl of slow cooker overnight oats packed with bursting blueberries and a kiss of cinnamon . No pots and pans to clean or frantic stirring – just a welcome bowl of porridge done right.

Slow Cooker Overnight Blueberry Porridge 2

Ingredients


140g oats
160g blueberries
900ml water
225ml skimmed milk
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt

Method

  1. Slightly spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray
  2. Add all ingredients apart from blueberries to the slow cooker and replace the lid
  3. Cook on low overnight for 8 hours
  4. 30 minutes before serving, add the blueberries
  5. Cook for a further 30 minutes then tuck in
