Homemade Christmas Cheese Twists

No self-respecting party platter is complete without the cheesiest cheese twists and they’re easy-peasy to create at home. Light-as-air and gloriously flaky, these simple but irresistible appetisers are guaranteed to please a crowd.

Homemade Christmas Cheese Twists

Ingredients


Flour to cover surface
350g ready rolled puff pastry
150g grated Parmesan

Method


 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C / Gas Mark 7
  2. Lightly flour your work surface
  3. Lay out the puff pastry, cover the surface with cheese then fold in half
  4. Using a rolling pin, roll out the pastry until around 3mm thick all over
  5. With a knife or a clean pair of scissors, score the pastry into 1cm thick strips
  6. Twist each strip 3 or 4 times
  7. Place on a baking sheet and sprinkle over the remaining cheese
  8. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes
