Homemade Bone Broth

Nutritionally charged, cheap and pretty darn tasty too - it’s little wonder homemade bone broth is enjoying a new lease of life. A simmering selection of vegetables and herbs give this traditional meaty recipe a little extra kick - this will become your new favourite hot drink.

Homemade Bone Broth 2

Ingredients


1kg bones
2 carrots, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 onions, sliced
4 cloves of garlic
2 bay leaves

Method


  1. Fill your slow cooker with cold water and add all the ingredients
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours
  3. Strain the broth through a sieve and serve up
